I got my prize

Jamie gave me some pretty awsome ear rings she made all by herself. Just for commenting on her blog. I have such great friends.
I guess I need to be a good friend now and make the gifts for those who wanted a gift from me. I have an idea I am sure they will love. I just need to take the time to get them done so watch the mail friends it will be coming soon!!

Warning, Warning... Lots of pictures!!!

Last weekend we took a much needed family get away. We loaded up the kids Friday night and were off. The kids were upset with us that we didn't get to a hotel earlier so that they could swim. They got over it the next morning when we took them here. (Click here to learn more about this place.)

All I could say while we were there was wow!!! The kids kept saying, "Thank you guys so much this is awesome!!!" Then they would say, "I would even pay $200 to come here again". So let me bore you with some pictures of our amazing day.

Here are Emmitt and Constance ready to start the day.

This is an airplane that is about seven stories in the air that the kids can climb up to. I will show better pictures later.

The first thing we did when we got in was go to the aquarium. It was great, there were many tanks that you could put your hands in and touch the fish. This picture is of Emmitt being attacked by the "Dr. Fish". When you put your hand in they attack it and eat all the dead skin. It feels like little suction cups all over your hands.

Next on the agenda was a zip down the 7 story slide. The only problem was walking up to the top of the seven story slide. But what a ride it was.

After our stomachs got back to normal after that slide we went outside to enjoy the beautiful 75 degrees. This is a picture of some of the crazy jungle gym stuff.

What I liked most about the museum is all the random pieces of architecture.

Daddy couldn't be more proud (in a nonprideful way)

Emmitt fouled out!!! The first one on his team to do it. The funniest thing was one of the Ref. (who Jason knew) came up to Jason and asked who his boy was. Before Jason answered he said, "let me guess #10 the little foul machine, I wonder who he gets that from?"

Dad does it

Well what do you do when your Dad retires, and he DOES NOT want anyone to do anything special? You call all his kids that live close by and tell them to be at Pizza Hut at 6:45 and wait.... and wait....

When he does walk in everyone stands up an claps and surprises him!!!!

Then the grand kids give him hugs

and more hugs

then when thing get a little boring and the dinner is done we sit around and talk. Well except for Jared he finds things to amuse himself like dumping pepper flakes in Sarah's purse when she's not looking

Then she dumps it all out.

Then she looks away again and he does it again.

and she dumps her purse again.

When all the fun has died down and the pizza hut employee's are threatening to never let us in their establishment again if we don't leave, Mom takes the tired, retiree home and Barant takes off to buy Guitar Hero World Tour. -- (way better than Rock Band)

We head back to my house ('cause there is a house full of 11 year old girls at Barant's house) and set up the game, and Jam all night.

Barant and Torey Rockin' it up while Emmitt kicks back a cold Mt. Dew.
Watch out for Torey he is a drumming' fool.

and Emmitt not only kicks it up a notch on the guitar he has some pretty sweet moves while he plays.

Enjoy a couple of videos, one of Torey on drums and I'm not sure who is on guitar- you don't want to look at the guitar side any way not good!!!

The next video is when at Pizza Hut Sarah goes to the bathroom and leaves her purse.

I got it

I got the camera I have been hoping for!!! A canon power shot SX10 IS, I am so excited. I have a lot to learn. It does everything. I hope

Below is not the first picture I took with it but it is the first worth posting. The first was of the dashboard in the car. 'Cause I couldn't wait to get home before I got it out and started playing with it.

I love this barn it is behind out house and down the road a little. I was standing in my back door when I took the picture. I think it turned out really well.
